Ash Wednsesday

Today is the first day of lent. For those of you that don't know what that is...it's a religious holiday that starts today and ends on Easter. For lent this year I'm not going to give anything up, I'm going to study a saint. I also did this last year. Last year when the priest was talking he mentioned lent and how it is a time to not only give up chocolate or laptops but to grow spiritually. My saint this year will be St. Adjuton, patron saint of swimmers. Happy First Day of Lent!
